Tips Healthy for Your Skin

Puffiness under your eyes

Common causes of this puffiness are lack of sleep and drinking excessive alcohol.
To reduce the puffiness, you can apply a cold compress until the area returns to it's original state. If alcohol is the culpret, increase your intake of fluids to rehydrate the skin.

Skin Problem

Shingles (Herpes Zoster)

Shingles starts with burning, tingling, or very sensitive skin. A rash of raised dots develops into painful blisters that last about two weeks. Shingles often occurs on the trunk and buttocks, but can appear anywhere. Most people recover, but pain, numbness, and itching linger for many -- and may last for months, years, or the rest of their lives. Treatment with antiviral drugs, steroids, antidepressants, and topical agents can help.

Hives (Urticaria)
Hives, a common allergic reaction that looks like
welts, are often itchy, stinging, or burning. They
may appear anywhere and last minutes or days.
Severe hives can cause difficult breathing (get
immediate medical attention if this occurs).
Medications, foods, or food additives, temperature extremes, and infections like strep throat can cause hives. Removing the trigger often resolves the hives in days or weeks. Antihistamines can provide relief.

Introduce Olay Company

History for 1ST

Graham Wulff 1916 – 2008On behalf of the Olay team around the world, I wish to extend our sincerest condolences to the Wulff family on the loss of a beloved husband, father and grandfather. Graham Wulff was a prolific inventor and visionary whose home laboratory and product testing with wife Dinah created Oil of Olay over 50 years ago. This disco-very transformed the modern skin care industry; women went from using greasy creams that neither smelled nor felt good to a “beauty fluid” that felt, looked and smelled beautiful. Today, we pay tribute to Wulff’s ingenuity, love for science, and dedication to conti-nuously test and improve – hallmarks that still define Olay’s purpose and dare us to create a better future.-Michael KuremskyOlay Global Franchise Leader

What is now a global business began in the home laboratory of chemist Graham Wulff in the early 1950s. He dreamt of creating a new beauty product for women that not only made them look and feel beautiful but that also embodied the essence of beauty itself. This would be a far cry from the thick, greasy facial creams packaged in shoe polish-style tins of the day.
Using his wife Dinah as his muse and research respondent, he began to truly understand what women really wanted. They wanted the same thing women still seek today, younger-looking, beautiful skin.

It was with this understanding that he was able to perfect his formula. He knew that his new facial moisturizer needed to closely resemble the fluids found in young skin. It needed to be…”as close as possible to skin sebum. Something that would penetrate rapidly, be compatible with the skin, remain stable, restore and hold moisture, while protecting the skin and leaving the surface with a supple, matte finish, ten minutes after application,” according to Wulff.
